so where is the perfect govt the perfect country?? it is not in cuba or australia or canada……no where is perfect
but if we all as a people (not our govts) strived for a better world i can only dream of the results, but the truth must be told cuba is in many respects a failed state (we could argue day/night if this is as a result of castro, communisim, clyclones, embargos, sugar dependant economy or my idea a combination) but also failed states are all of africa the balkans most of the former soviet union, NT korea……………..

yes the buildings are collapsing

according to my reaoning hitler would have been replaced by the people of the world (our leaders are not representive of the people the media is not representive of the people we are all sheep led by a shepard with his own motives)
all dictators in the world only survive because of the surport of either USA or CHINA/RUSSIA the people of Zimbabwe no more want mugabe as leader, as cubas want the castros but millions of dollars worth of aid and arms prop them up.
only by letting the full story (good and BAD) to be heard can a change occur.
castro/cuban regime is like the naughty child who has been so bad that no matter what they do they are scolded so they only act bad because they know they will only get scolded, if we praise when they do good maybe they will learn to like the praise and become better?

I like your answer Stephen B. The problem with saying anything about Cuba is it brings out heated views from all teh Miami Cubans. Not the ones who madde it over in small boats but rather those that have been born to Cubans who fled in 1959 I suppose.
i’ve vsited Cuba but Ive no time for communism (my grandparents fled Lithuania from teh communists in ‘45) but when compared to other caribbean countries , it stands head and shoulders above them or any S american country when it comes to health care , literacy, housing and safety.
Fantastic, but according to your reasoning, Hitler’s government should have been left to develop. Just because they had the minor inconvenient of killing millions of people, it doesn’t matter.
No country is perfect
What happens in many places is sad, but we have our hands full with the problems of OUR country. If you are so concerned with those countries, fine. Go there and help them.

So are you saying that Hitler should have been a good guy? Because he had a lot of people that praised him. The Castros are like any other dictators and they are murderers , murderers just like Che, Hitler, Stalin or Mao.
They are not spoiled kids that need care and love and then they would become good kids. They are what they are and the solution to that is dead.
